Do you have the drivers and know how to install your sound card? It seems to
me if you're logged on to a profile that doesn't have it installed all you
have to do is install it to work around this problem.

Have you checked in your Control Panel ... Multimedia ...and make sure it is
not blank
Or even in your Control Panel under Sounds ... it might be on "no sound"
(although I don't know how much of the computer that controls)
I know this is "Minnie'Mouse-Basic" but I have had things this simple send
me to the land of frustration.
Or is there anything on the following site that might be of help to you:

> I have Callwave internet answering machine. my problem is with my ancient
PC. it's an AMD K2 360MgH with Win98se. (I know, I need to upgrade.) in 2 of
my profiles there's no sound. in the other profile I have sound, but I lack
passwords my sister put in. (she's out of the country for a spell with the
newer computer we've been using) I can't find on Callwave's website the fix
I used to use to regain sound. (Of course I never wrote it & saved it)
> Does anyone know how to make sound come back? it was maybe a DLL I had to
reinstall or some little file. Even when no other progam is using the sound
card, I can't hear the calls, because there's no sound period in my profile.
