Thanks John
I couldn't find the temp displayed in the BIOS.
However I have Fresh Devices and found it there - 46 deg C.

The reason I wanted to know the temp is - my machine is bombing out
at odd times, like moving my mouse and/or the extendable keyboard tray.

I have already replaced the IDE cables, moved the two HDD out of their mobile
racks and connected them directly to their respective cables.

I've also used an electronic switch/terminal cleaner on all multi pin plugs
and
still the problem persists.

Also cleaned the DRAM pins and sockets, removed DRAM array and switched
sockets.

Is there anyway I can check these memory arrays?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
