Well, I'm surprised that you expected them to play. They will play, if
you open them in a media player, but to have them play just from the DVD
drive you would need to convert them from mp3 and make a real audio disc
from the converted files. Try opening My Computer, then open the DVD
drive, then double click on any of the mp3 files... it should now open
in your default media player and play.
