[pchelpers] Re: CD/DVD burner

Ray you are right about burning a CD or DVD in Vista. The help states this:

"You can use Windows to burn a data disc, which is useful for storing,
archiving, and sharing files among different computers. If you want to
make a disc that will play in a music or video player, you should burn
the disc using a music or video program."

So I guess burning and MP3 would work since most players can handle M3
files as Data files. I will have to give that a try and see if my DVD
player can handle it that way. I have always used Roxio but since I
installed the Magic Jack phone that will not work since just opening up
the program locks up both Magic Jack and also Roxio as well as the
computer and nothing will bring it out without a power down. Task
Manager cannot do it.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
