I suggest the following,
1.0 First shut off your computer (shut down properly).
2.0 Open the case and disconnect the drives from the mother board this is the
larger cable of the two on the drives.
3.0 Delete the drives from your system via control panel.
4.0 Re-boot your machine without the drives connected, then shut down and power
off by shutting down.
5.0 Reconnect the drives and let Windows find them. At this point have the
drivers available or let Windows select a driver for the moment this can always
be changed later.
See if this corrects the problem.
