I deleted my Linux Operating system which had installed a multiple
boot record. After that I could not get Windows to Boot. I used the
original CDs that came with the computer and did a complete restore,
still when I tried to boot from the hard drive all that appeared on the
big black screen was LI and the machine was locked up. Then restored
Windows from my Disk Image backup and the response was still the same.
When I reinstalled Linux, it apparently rewrote the boot record
or set up the multiple boot so I was able to select Windows again. Does
anyone know of a program that will rewrite the Normal Windows Boot
record? Operating System is Windows ME
Thanks Cy

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
