Hi PcCowboy,

On the Playback Settings screen, I see that there's a channel change
latency option; I don't know if that controls the channel change speed
or not, but worth a try. I normally use the web interface, which is
what they started with. In the web interface, go to Settings, Advanced
Settings, Timeshifting buffers. I rarely use Live TV, so not too
familiar with it. If you're not concerned about wanting to save the
Live TV recordings, you might want to dig up a copy of AmCap to use
instead (or whatever will work with your TV capture card).
Also under Advanced Settings, take a look at Video Playback Settings,
and Miscellaneous Settings.

I'm not sure that I've ever had trouble with the padding since they
brought it out of beta. When two shows are back-to-back, the padding
simply gets ignored, as it should. If you indeed got a show like that,
then I'd report it. Is this just with the latest version?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
