Yes

Here how it goes.
I turn on "Live TV" and it starts on Ch 3. I want to watch Ch 46 so I 
click on
the ch up button until I get to it. (BTW it takes a long time for the 
channels to change)
After turning off the program I check the recording folder and there is 
a file of the program
I was watching, sometimes there are 2 cause the first file turns off 
about 1/2 way and the
2nd file starts up to finish the program.
There is also a file for each of the channels I went up through to get 
to ch 46

I think the conflict problem I'm seeing with my recording has something 
to do with
the padding.

I have a 4 min pad on the recording. When the program has back to back 
recordings
it is suppose to ignore the padding, but it isn't. I found one EP with 4 
min missing in
front and 4 min missing at the end. They are recorded on the EPs that 
started before
and after.
