Thanks for the reply. I'd like to refine my question. See, it's the
'driving' I'm interested in. How do you use the router? What do you do to
designate which programs get access when. I don't need to know the technical
reasons it works. I wouldn't know what you were talking about anyway. :-) Do
you push a button, or type something on your keyboard, or set some switch to
grant different access requests/attempts?

Sorry for being late with this, I just got back from QB...........but to
quote OddBall in Kelly's Hero's, "I don't know what makes them work, I only
drive them"  Sorry George, can't tell you anf from the scant info I got from
Lynksys Tech support, on opening ports to access sertain progs like MSN
messenger etc, I don't think they know either.
