Most computer-security professionals don't believe in security.
To those who know better, a computer network can never be "secure"--only
"more secure." In other words: No data is absolutely safe.
"There's a vulnerability in every system," says James Lewis, researcher
at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a public policy
research organization in Washington, D.C. If it's not a faulty firewall
or an unprotected mobile device, he says, "it can be as simple as an
employee's password written on a yellow post-it note."
