[pchelpers] Application not working

Hello all. Do you remember a few weeks ago, I told you about a friend with an
Epson all in one that had stopped working and the person couldn't uninstall
software that was working perfectly well before hand?
Well now the same thing has happened to me. I'm running Win XP Pro and I
installed a Pool game some weeks ago and it worked fine. Toady I had some time
to play with and clicked the short cut and got this message

"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "Close" to terminate the
application"

Why should this suddenly happen. I could understand if I hadn't been able to
install and use because the application wasn't compatible with XP but not to
happen weeks after it was installed??

Any ideas............ah and I can't uninstall to reinstall?? nor will the
application open the install files to run over the top or repair???

Billy

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
