Thanks Gregory,
Actually, the program asks to accesss a dll file in the Windows 386 folder.
The fax program appears in Accessories/Communications/Fax. In any case it is
installed now, and I got my note to my internist who gets preoccupied with
things that are not my concern. - Gerald

A little known thing about Windows XP is it comes with a nice fax
program, of course MS does not install it be default.
Get your Dell XP OS Install Disk put it in, then goto
Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Add/Remove Windows Components>
Put a check Mark in Fax Services it will then begin the install process.
It will then show up in Start>All Programs, it has an easy Wizard to use.
