[pchelpers] Access report/query problem

I'm running access 2000 on one of my machines. In it there is a database
containing a catalog of VCR recordings (lots). This database used to
print a report placing everything in alphabetical order by title. Due to
all the problems with office, it needs to be set up again.

The data itself is intact. I have been able to create a query that can
list it complete. The problem comes when I try to format the output into
a report that can be printed/published. It has been a long time since
this was created...

Have been trying to get hints from a recently purchased text book, but
for some reason combining the report with the query never gives the
right result. It is the main body of the report page that goes wrong. I
can print from a table (unsorted), but it's not too useful.

Can anyone offer clues on how to get the desired fields from a query to
come out in the access report?
