Hi Re-Na,

I think it sounds like you've sorted the problem out.
However, I just thought that I would point out that when you open an Access
database, Access tries to create a .ldb file in the same directory as the
.mdb - I think this contains record locking information.  Since the .mdb is
on a CD, it can't create the .ldb file and that's probably where all the
errors are coming from.
