Cyril,
I have these lines in my autoexec.bat file:
C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\DELTREE /Y C:\WINDOWS\TEMP
MKDIR C:\WINDOWS\TEMP
I reboot often enough that my temp file stays clean.

Subject: [pchelpers] Access Denied
When I try to use a program to clear out the TEMP folder in Windows ME
there are times when there is a file with a crazy name that brings up the
error Access Denied. For example:
02-12-04 8:44p PIPE_FILE_MAPPING_OSL_PIPE_Cyril
Halbach_SingleOfficeIPC_8aebdadcdafcdc2d8ac43e652f6fd37
Is there any way to get rid of it short of rebooting into DOS mode and
erasing it?
Cy

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
