[pchelpers] Re: 8mm!!/To PC Cowboy

Regarding DVD Burners.......

OK...I will explain the best I can. I do have a DVD burner in my Dell PC
(XP)..less that a year old. I have a program called "Sonic" that is used
to burn the DVD from my Cam corder. That is a Canon Z 45.

I have had limited success with that. However, I am unable to edit the
movies and cut out un-needed stuff. So---now I have too much saved in the
Video file and now my PC is full up! And I am not able to delete the
things I want to get more space freed up to work with......Problem grows!
It is just me...I need a little help from someone that knows more about
that than I do...

So when I was able to get a DVD/Recorder that will accept a cam-corder, I
thought it a reasonable thing to do. The other thing want to do is put
some family videos on DVD's and would not be able to do it on the
PC....Just a little more complicated that I can handle at this time. For
some reason I have not found the right combination on the menu that I
need to do this. It is just supposed to be "Line 2" for front hook-ups.
Need to play with it some more....

I am sure I could have done it with just the PC if I just knew a little
more about it......went the easiest route for me at this time.

Thanks for your interest..
