Another option is to use a IDE Mobile rack.
This is a Hard-drive enclosure that fits in your computer drive bay.
It has a drive caddy that you install a hard-drive in and place inside 
the enclosure.
You would flip a lever and the caddy would pop out.

Back in the days when I was learning NT I needed a NT OS installed and 
then my
Reg Windows OS. I got two of the mobile racks. (One for the extra caddy)
I put a hard-drive with NT on one caddy, and Windows on the other caddy.

Then when I would go to boot up the system I would push in the caddy of 
the OS that
I wanted to run at the time.
