I never ran the wizard for my 98 boxes and they still work.

Cheers!

  Hi Pam,
I think you should run it anyway, it can't hurt and I believe there are places
to tell it that it is not the server, but connects to another computer.

It doesn't really matter as long as you get the wizard part on the diskette
for
the 98 machine. I don't think you'll mess the xp machine up doing the wizard,
especially if you answer all the choices correctly.

I could also send you a copy for the diskette, of my copy, but I think it
would
be best to get it off of your xp computer if you can.

  | Sorry to take so long to get back on this. Things started getting busy
  | around here again.
  | I found the wizard you described but it said something about being for the
  | machines that would be networked to it so I stopped becauseneither it nor XP
  | OS will be involved in the connection between the 98 box and the 2k server.
  | What do you think?
