Star by right mouse clicking on the windows explorer icon and go to
properties. When the Windows Explorer Properties
window is open you will see the default Target: %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe
Change the Target: to read %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,C:\ and
then click apply button and your done.
This one of the first changes I make when I do a new install of Win XP-PRO
