I use a program called Adaware Away http://www.adawareaway.com it is a free trial and will remove about:blank hijacker.. it expires after 15 days though unless you buy the update package... I'm too cheap... I just redownload it about once a week and keep it on my repair disk. Pest Patrol http://www.pestpatrol.com very good spyware program.. but quite paranoid will remove good programs if your not careful... example VNC and Putty.

Mcaffee Antivirus Command Line scanner.. see http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/help/mcafee.htm for more info... come up in Safe mode Command prompt only and run the program... very good at getting the un-gettables...
