Hi Carl,
The desktops are both on the same machine.  You log off of one and log onto
the other.   I remember 98 had it but I never played much with it.

  You're above me.   I've got 3 computers running Windows xp, home & prof
and they are networked but I'm sure how to combine 2 desktops into 1.
Perhaps via shared folders.    I think access would be via "My Computer",
explore.

up or deleted/combined?  What I need to do is hopefully combine 2 desktops
into 1, but if I can't combine then I'll need to delete 1 and somehow reset
all the stuff related to the deleted desktop to be accessible on the
remaining desktop.
