What is the model of the dell? It definately appears to be your video
adaptor drivers went corrupt or you crashed and it lost the info, what OS
are you running also. Dave

Yup - - -that seems to be the problem.  I went to "drivers.com" and down
loaded a four megabyte file purportedly for the Dell laptop - -  hopefully,
that may work.  If it does, I'll post my success.  If not, back to the
drawing board.
