What error do you see when you right-click the start button and left-click
explore? I think you indicated it was wrong version for iexplorer.
You copied one file from dos and that was most likely not from a XP home
version, so that is one part of the problem.

I like to look at trees. :-)
I was trying to find the backup setup files that Windows xp made when I
first installed the program and was hoping I could execute the setup file if
it is on my harddrive.
Yes, I know Dirmagic is software. I've used it for many years.

Dirmagic is software..You don't need.

for and trying to do with whatever your looking for...?????

Yes, I know.
I use Dirmagic to look at the dos tree.

you can always use DOS to look at your folders and see what is there or what
is missing..

Someone else probably already asked this, but can you access MyComputer? If
so you can access files that way.

Hey Bob, David, Trapper, Pam & all;

I cannot look at my folders/files tree because Windows Explorer will not
work but I discovered I can go to my desktop and make a shortcut and
surf/browse my folders via that method and I discovered no i386 folder but I
did find a file called "ie6setup.exe" and I made a shortcut to it on my
desktop. I'll report back if it worked.
