Actually, I prefered the modern day Ninja Turtles RPG. It was a bit
more ridiculous, since you needed a different origin for each mutation,
and it led to a ridiculous amount of people running around with
Ninjitsu, but it was just more fun.
Of course, the downside to Palladium is that it took FOREVER to knock
someone out.
Even more so then GURPS, that was clearly a system designed to do one
thing (Fantasy) that had issues when it was ported over to another.

I guess I can see how if you were a salamander Amphibian-American would be a
step up, but it seems to me you should call a toad a toad.
