The 'click here' gives you the ability to opt-out of being tracked via Web
Beacons.
A web beacon is hidden inside html in a mail message. For example, if you
receive an e-mail with html in it, some of that html can be specifically
keyed such that when the image or text is retrieved from the sender's web
site, it contains a identifier of you, the individual. This is a beacon to
the sender that the mail account must be active.
