In general, I don't favor scripting solutions. I am not a programmer, and
I find these kinds of things intimidating. The first time I ran into this
was with IBM Screen Reader and the PAL language. Now, it is in JAWS.
I favor the toggle, radio button, and checkbox approach to making changes.
However, could an interface that employ such methods interact with a
scripting language. In others, users who made changes would actually
change scripts, but this would be transparent to the user? After these
changes were made, the user would have to press a Compile button.
