[ossrp-control] Re: [ossrp-control]Functional Requirement

Hi Rick,

It's likely that we'll use a synthesiser that incorperates the SAPI interface.
This means we can program to one standard interface but have it work with a
range of different synthesisers. This should make programming the thing
relatively straight forward whilst still allowing the user some choice of
synthesiser to use.

Some starter articles can be found at:

A class reference at:

It's worth bearing in mind that these are subject to change.

  Hi all;
  Quick question. Has a development and test synth been selected and, if so,
where can I find out what types of inputs it looks for? If I know the synth
I can start my studies there. It's as good a point as any to start as my
technical background is a bit weak in this area I'm afraid but I do enjoy
learning new things and the talking part of a screen reader is it's natural
output. I'd feel more comfortable knowing what the talker wants when later
trying to figure out what and how to feed it what it wants. Anyone holding
some good articles or books on the subject?
