Microsoft and its products are the most widely used. Other os's like linux 
or mac might be able to do htings that microsoft can't, but if we want to 
help the greatest number of people, we likely will have to do something in 
the microsoft area. Mind you, these are just my thoughts.

If this group is planning to do free work for Microsoft then it's not
"open source" and I would not be interested.

Open source software is all 100% free....that would include the OS and
all the apps.

Just because we all have bought in MS does not seem to me to be a reason
to perpetuate the problems.
