That's right, Pete. Two of them have already attacked our friend,
Telli-Pekah; though, they have not known or considered the fact that he
has long had the idea of having a free screen reader for the blind.
Others have certainly had the idea, but at least he's got a page about it.
He may not remember me, but I certainly remember him. While we haven't
met in person, we have exchanged ideas about the screen reader project
he is desiring to see happen. Jaws is a wonderful machine. Many of us
would not be helping people as we are today if it hadn't been for it as
well as Window Eyes. However, why do you still use Jaws as the
comparison standard?
Articulation? Yes, I admit some can blow me in the dust saying things
so educatorily, flowerly, and with persuasion. But, they have to make
sense when it comes to everyday life.
The fact that blind people want to use pc's in as close a way as
possible to their sighted peers is a fact which doesn't go away, just
because you disagree with it.
Our wonderful Finish friend, as well as Pete has much to contribute,
not only to our cause in general, but to this project as well.
Come on now! we're on the same team here.
Tony
