Melton Valley Access Road now available to runners, walkers!
A new shoulder has been paved on Melton Valley Access Road to allow runners and
walkers to safely use this road and hill for exercising. Previously, MVAR had
narrow, dangerous shoulders with limited vison for drivers, making it unsafe
for ORNL employees to use for running.
"With F&O's hard work, this road is now very safe for runners and walkers,"
says Wellness coordinator Joan Lawson.
Melton Valley Access Road connects the main campus to HFIR and Ramsey Drive
along with EGCR. "Now runners have a perfect loop to run from the main campus
to EGCR and back, a good 10K," Joan says. "Big thanks to F&O for making MVAR a
safe road for exercisers."

Thanks,
Joan
