Yes, I read somewhere that Australian wasps that are first deceived by
pheromones learn to avoid such orchid flowers. But the opposite is also true,
presumably, if the expereince is highly positive - which may amount to pushing
some sensory buttons, rather than delivering the goods - then they will
imprint positively on the flower. (Like some human brands I will not mention.)
