Not being with the RHS I can only assume that it costs a lot more than the $12 
or $16 fee to rent space, pay staff, compile the registry and pay for web 
space/web masters to make the Hybrid List freely available via their web page.  
That sounds like an investment of time and trouble (if not money) to me.  I 
have no idea how many orchids are registered in a year? 4000?  5000? At $16 per 
that's anywhere from $64,000 - $80,000.   Sounds to me like the RHS has to 
subsidize the Orchid Registry.
 
I have always wondered how you felt when OW & AQ+ came on the scene.  I mean, 
you were the innovator.  This was all your idea, without you these programs 
(AQ+, OW) wouldn't have had a starting place.
