I use Physan also with excellent results. The trick is catching the mold before 
it has already begun to break down the medium. Also, since the fungus grows 
into the bark and into places the Physan barely touches it’s best to soak the 
pot up to the rim in a Physan solution for 20-30 minutes and then let it dry 
out before resuming your feeding and watering schedule.

Well Ray, let me be the first to bring up a persistent problem I have.  Snow 
mold!  Is there any effective way of eliminating snow mold when it starts to 
invade the growing media?
