You needn't vmware. You can install RAC on single node, see in dizwell site:
http://www.dizwell.com/oracle/articles/laptop_rac.html
Some parameters are explained in:
http://www.vmware.com/support/gsx25/doc/ha_configs_scsi-res_enable_gsx.html
Your parameter list doesn't include an important parameter (maybe you know
its meaning):
disk.locking = "FALSE"
