Another suggestion might be to read it online?
Using my ASPN Perl subscription, via ActiveState, I
got 5 revolving book credits. Cary's and Jeff's book
is available on O'Reilly' Safari and it costs one
slot. There are quite a few ways to subscribe to
Safari.

BTW, this book changed my perspective on Oracle
tuning, and started me on the 'true path'. :-)
