Build a new standby controlfile from the production database.

From production.
alter database create standby controlfile as 'xxxx';
I use standby.ctl for xxxx.

Shutdown your standby database.
Copy standby.ctl from production to appropriate control file locations on your
standby.
Restart your standby database.

Oracle 11g
Redhat Linux,
We lost the controlfile from a standby its not THAT important but whats the

We can backup the primary control file to trace;
