9.2 Std Ed: Analytic Functions available.
reviewing statspack data for (new) server sizing
requirements, 
LAG/LEAD OVER ( PARTITION BY ORDER BY)
 sure is sweet.

I need not say anymore, but to quote that much
material, I have to add in an additional amount of
ballast.
A few more lines ought to do it.
