Re: shared pool

Presumably because you are using automatic shared memory mananagement and
you have SGA_TARGET set where SGA_TARGET is the total size for all *_pool
parameters and Oracle automatically sizes them.

N.B. if any *_pool paramters are set these will act as minimum values for
the specified pool.

Hello all,
   Oracle 10gR2 on HPUX.  Thought I would do a little tuning.  My shared
pool shows a size of 0.  Why?
