Raghu,

      You may want to read Metalink note 35512.1 on dbv.  A workaround may be to
take the datafile offline, and recover all the other tablespaces individually,
and then rebuild this tablespace, and then recreate the indexes in this
tablespace.  I am assuming that since the name of your tablespace has idx in it,
that only indexes are in it.

I am recovering from hot backup, alert log says one of file corrupted! =
and I checked with dbv utility no corruption!!  My environment is AIX, =
Oracle 8174. Any ideas?
