Re: public vs. private synonym internals

I am not sure about your ORA-600 error and the its relation to the internals of 
synonyms.
 
There is quite a bit of difference between public and private synonyms. From a 
performance prespective private synonyms out-performs public synonyms by 2:4 
 
I had a paper on this topic.. however it would be better for you to browse 
through Steve Adams website at www.ixora.com.au  for his analysis...He was my 
guru during this discussions about 3-4 years back.
