oracle consulting sales calls when you open a support ticket?

anyone else getting these? It must be the bad economy. I got a call from
someone at oracle. I asked him what ticket the call was about and he gave me
a ticket that has been closed for a month. I took a good 5 minutes before he
basically admitted that this was a sales call from oracle consulting.

At the rates that Oracle charges for consulting, I can't see this really
working much.
