online space reorgs in 8i

Anyone know how Quest or Platinum did a live reorg in Oracle 8?
Working with some folks in China who really want to reorg on 8, can't
upgrade for down time etc.
They are convinced they need reorgs.
I'm trying to figure out if they really need reorgs or not but the
communication is spotty.
In the mean time I'm trying to see if we can do any live reorgs on 8.
