The oerr utility is just a shell script. Conceivably, one could make a copy of it in cygwin and it should work. -- Ron Reidy Lead DBA Array BioPharma, Inc. ________________________________ From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rich Holland [oramail] Sent: Friday, February 09, 2007 7:54 AM To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: oerr for Windows I'm working in a Windows shop for awhile, and I sorely miss being able to type "oerr ora 1555" at the command line and get a quick blurb about the error message. Has anyone found a replacement for this that doesn't involved looking things up in documentation files?
