Yes.

No. Unless you run Linux clients that is.

Mind you, I've been using TOAD for years (without the DBA option) and
have been very happy with it. The current veriosn is even better.


On my box, P4 2.2 Ghz and 256 Mb RAM (yes that's all) TOAD is up and
running long before Raptor has it's spalsh screen running - but hey,
that's Java for you.

I'm told that TOAD up to v8.something has been validated under Wine on
Linux, but I have not tries it myself yet. The latest TOAD hasn't yet
been validated.
