AFAIK you can have any number of Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g homes on Windows. I have for certain an 8.1.7.4, a 9.2.0.4, a 9.2.0.7, a 10.1.0.5 and a 10.2.0.2 home and database running on a Win2000 AS OS.
At RMOUG a couple of years back, Chip had 5 database instances up on his laptop (2 GB phys mem) each running a different major release version. Of course, since it was running local, he could have gotten by without ANY listeners :) Paul

My registry shows: KEY_OraClient10g_home1 KEY_OraDb10g_home1 The OraDb10G_home1 directory shows the two databases I have created.
