delete statistics error?

I tried to delete one of my table's statistics and got
error. If I login as "system" and there is NO error.
Anyone know why?
analyze table user1.mywork delete statistics;
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-20101: Do Not ANALYZE MYWORK
ORA-06512: at line 1
