I am using my HP Laptop zv5340US about 2 yrs old ( AMD 64 3400+ with 100 gb
HDD and 1.2 Gigs RAM ). Fantastic 15.4 inch screen. I just luv it.
I have WIndows Vista RC-1 with Oracle 10G (10.2.0.2), TOAD 8.6.0.38,
AllFusion DM 7.1, PowerDVD. The smaller partition has Ubuntu UNIX on VMWare
:-)
This is my great workhorse..but a little loud on the fan side though

What laptops are you using that gave you good return for the money? Reliable
and pleasant to work with?
I am thinking of buying laptop, dividing it in Linux and Windows, put Orace
db on Linux, dba tools on windows (TOAD ,ERd) and use it as my main
workhorse.
