yep -- but Grid control is not exacly meant to run standalone on a laptop. running the browser client, and iAS (yes indeed, iAS!) and multiple databases on a single laptop sounds a little overdone to me ... apart from that, Grid Control does not suck -- it is just not meant for "toy" databases and "toy" environments...
