yep -- but Grid control is not exacly meant to run standalone on a laptop.
running the browser client, and iAS (yes indeed, iAS!) and multiple
databases
on a single laptop sounds a little overdone to me ...

apart from that, Grid Control does not suck --
it is just not meant for "toy" databases and "toy" environments...

yea and the darned grid control requires a Gig of RAM to install, my
laptop just aint up to the requirements.  this whole grid things sucks
so far.
