If memory serves, this script pushes out the Oracle software, adds the three daemons to the /etc/inittab file (evms, ocssd, crsd), starts up these daemons, adds the node to the cluster registery (OCR), and synchronizes the oraInventory. I'm sure it does much more than this but best I can do from memory. -Randy Randy Johnson Sr. Technical Consultant Enkitec, LLP Office ..... 817-255-3580 Mobile .... 817-564-6583 Email ..... randy.johnson@xxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ujang Jaenudin Sent: Monday, July 09, 2007 1:46 AM To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: add node , oracle software a bit error all, when adding the 3rd node, i got this error, but the installation shown me to run root.sh on ORACLE_HOME. my question, what is this script do ?
