XMLTYPE

Hello list,
One of our developer wanted to insert a record using XMLTYPE, but, got
the following error:
ERROR at line 2:
ORA-21700: object does not exist or is marked for delete
ORA-06512: at "SYS.XMLTYPE", line 0
ORA-06512: at line 1
I have searched on google and metalink without any luck. Did any has
any advice or solution for this?
